I have a Charge 5 that is not cooperative. It began with a black screen and was not responding. At one point it began randomly vibrating for a minute or two. I have attempted numerous reboots following the 3 push restart. The device will have a short vibrate burst and show the Fitbit logo and go the the black screen and be unresponsive. I have tried this multiple times, removed the device from the app and removed it from my devices Bluetooth connection. It still is unresponsive and uncooperative. What’s next??

Pretty much the same issue with my several month old Charge 5. Black screen. Unresponsive. iPhone app can't find the Charge 5. I've done the 3 push restart several times. The first time or two the logo would appear on the watch and then revert back to black screen.
JUNK!
Additional note: I fiddled a bit more with the Charge 5 - cleaned, changed USB ports, dropped Charge 5 from Fitbit app (but it can't even be found now) - to no avail.
Worse, the unit heats up considerably when connected to the charger.
It's going in the garbage. Bye bye Fitbit.....

I reached out to live help and actually had a conversation with someone. I was given a case number had to create a video showing what the Fitbit was doing. Unfortunately it took a day to get that done but I sent it to him last night. I’m awaiting his response.

I have a case number. They know what my issue is. They have been zero help.
