App does not link with charge 5 watch

This morning when I did my workout, I felt the buzz of my going into peak mode. I saw the peak icon on the Fitbit. The Fitbit buzzed 3 times. 
When I went into my app, it did not show the peak time. The app only showed that I stayed in cardio. 
I even reset my Fitbit. I logged out and then in. Still, I don’t see the peak time. 

Please advise.

I don't have an idea for charge 5. Have you tried rebooting your device? because for a charge 3 at least, press and hold the button on the side of the device longer until you see the smile icon, it's just ten seconds or more.  you should see a display with 'screen wake' with a light bulb and 'notifications' with what looks like a smart phone with a text message box.  if they are dim, they are off.  touch them to turn them back on.    Press the button again briefly to switch back to the normal mode, and it should be all set.  this worked for 2 charge 3's that I know of.
