Have been trying to fix this for ages. Have done all the restart of device and phone, reinstalled the app etc Says it is paired but then I get the message saying an app is needed. Made sure all the settings are correct. No online answers have helped. Surely there must be some way to fix this?

I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this and it seems they've shared some instructions with you. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.

I've been having the same problem for a little over a month now and am unable to recover messages to my phone. When I attempt to connect to Bluetooth I receive the following message "an app is needed to use this device ". I've un paired, re-, paired, forced stop, delated the app, etc. Basically ive done eveything thse forums have said and have had zero luck.

This message usually appears when a device is not set up, but if you already followed all the recommendations listed here, then make sure to try restarting your device using the charging cable and follow the set up process again.
