App won’t allow me to manually add an exercise

ANSWERED

App won’t allow me to manually add an exercise. My watch cut out halfway through my walk because it hit 15% (what is th point of those 15% if it’s gonna shut down then anyway) so I went to add it manually and the button just won’t work. Funnily enough just updated the app for bug fixes. Really frustrating.

I am having similar issues:  Since the "Google Migration,"  my Charge 5 will not maintain the changes I make -- such as, deleting an exercise.  The box unchecks but then it resets back to the "Factory Defaults" that Google/Fitbit customer service told me ALL trackers were reset to "factory default" when they were migrated.  SO ANNOYING!   I cannot delete preloaded exercises I do not do, nor add the ones I had before.  I am going to CANCEL my premium subscription until if/when GOOGLE fixes these bugs!   The offshore (from USA), rep told me:  "There is NO customer help in the USA."  "You HAVE to unsync your watch from your phone.  The add a phone feature is ONLY for people who don't have trackers."  (How does THAT make sense??). "Google has sent out an update.  You just have not received it yet.  You need to check your App Store until it is there..."  (He doesn't know how updates "roll-out.")

"You have been a customer for a decade.  It is taking a long time to put all that information back on your account."  (The information is in "the cloud," how can it take so long?)

Google forcing FitBit users to "Move to Google or lose your information...."  Is the WORST MOVE EVER!   Google already owned Fitbit, why does anything else matter??  (If it isn't broke, don't fix it....)

Has ANYBODY been able to delete exercises, manually enter workouts, manually add exercises like PRE-GOOGLE?   I live in California, where Google is headquartered.  It might be worth the drive.  OR, there is always "Apple Watch..."

Did all of your information come back?  After you deleted the app?  🙂
