BLACK SCREEN OF DOOM on Charge 5 - Pls help us Fitbit Support!

Dear Fitbit Support.

 

Can we please have help with the Fitbit 5 Black Screen of Doom? My fitbit is like SO many of the others on this notice board - I can feel it vibrating and it tracks measurements through the app on my phone. But the screen is black, and has been for the last 3 days.

 

We've all tried restarting our fitbits with the 'press the button 3 times' routine, and we've scoured the internet looking for solutions. We just want them to work, and a solution would really help.

 

A firmware update, a something, anything to get these things back online. Otherwise, it'll just sit on my dresser, fully charged up and without a wrist to attach to.
