Band Clip broke

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The small clip that attaches the band to the tracker broke off after 2 months use. Luckily the tracker is in perfect condition as it subsequently flung off my hand in public and could easily have been damaged but I can't find a replacement for that small piece of plastic.

Any help would greatly be appreciated

Hello @ADrew

That’s really unlucky!  It might be worth contacting Support to see if they might be able to help you with it.  You can contact them by selecting Help at the bottom of the page, then Get Support, then Live Chat or Call.

In the meantime, there are some straps on Amazon that encompass the whole ‘pebble’ part so don’t rely on needing the clip part.

This is an example, but I’m sure there are lots more available.

I hope that helps a bit and that you get a good resolution to your problem.

This has been a common fault with a Charge 4. I would like to clarify that you are reporting you had this happen with a Charge 5 device?

Yes, this is a charge 5. I previously had a charge 3 and the design change from that seems way more fragile now my attention has been brought to it.

I will directly contact support tomorrow, hopefully this issue is covered under the warranty although Im fearful of this issue just repeating itself

Thank you for clarifying. Hopefully your claim is satisfactorily resolved. Hopefully it's a "one-off" and doesn't replicate the massive issue that occurred with the Charge 4 design, where "replacement devices" also had the same breakage issue, but were "out of warranty" when it happened again.
