Greetings,

I'm not having any issues with the Charge 5 battery yet, but I was wondering how/when is the bet way to charge it.

-I charge it every night when I take a shower. The battery is only down to about 88%, but after my shower, its up close to 100%.

or

-Should I wait until it is almost fully drained, then charge it. Just wondering what is best for the life of the battery.

Any thoughts!

No expert here, but what I have read and makes sense to me, is best to keep between  20% and 80% for lithium-ion batteries in almost all modern electronics.  Puts extra stress on battery when charging at low and high extremes.  And shorter, more frequent, charging sessions like you are doing is better than waiting for one long session.  But I have no idea how much difference it actually makes.

For your case,my suggestion would be continue charging just while taking shower, but first let it run down to 40-50%, then start that routine.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
