Battery charge stops heartrate monitor.

My first Charge 5 was returned because it would not pair with my android phone. (The telephone help guy was actually very good. He knew his stuff, was not just reading from a script.)

After my first battery charge, no heartrate detection. Did a restart and all is good. If the same happens after the second battery charge, it is going back. Is it really necessary to restart every time a battery is charged?

(FITBIT, ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?) Judging by the QC issues in this forum, is the Charge 5 ready for prime time?

@SunsetRunner My heart rate monitor shut off mysteriously on Thursday morning and I didn't realize it until Thursday night.  Restarting the Charge 5 fixed it.  And then last night it randomly cut off from 1:45am until 4am and it came back on itself (it messed up my sleep log, that's how I noticed the HR monitor stopped working in the middle of the night).  I'm not sure what's going on, but I've had my Charge 5 for a few weeks and this is the first time this has happened to me.  You definitely shouldn't have to restart after every charge.  

 

Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch.
