I charged my Charge 5 Thursday(100%), worked Friday, accumulated 12000 steps+, got up Saturday morning and watch dead. Had to charge and lost all Friday's data.

Before considering other options, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article to improve battery life in general.
In addition, please keep in mind the team is aware of a battery drain issue affecting some Charge 5 devices in which the built-in GPS chip may remain active after ending a GPS-enabled exercise and they've working on an update to fix the issue. In the meantime, it is recommended to try the following steps:
