Battery runs off suddenly

I've got a Charge 5 since June 2023, and recently I've had several issues with the battery draining suddenly to zero. This has happened with a charge of 43% overnight and with a charge of 71%.  This has happened 3 times in the last month.

Let me help you with the battery issue you are experiencing with your Charge 5.

The battery life of your Chrge 5 is estimated to go up to 7 days. However it's affected by use and other settings, so actual results may vary.

Using features such as always-on display and GPS require more frequent charging. For more information and fo acknowledge some tips that may be helpful, i recommend that you read our helpl article Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

I have a similar issue. My Charge 5 is suddenly loosing battery power. From 100 % to 60 % in 4 hours. This behavior started this week. I disabled almost all features that require some power or increase radio comm.

Mine is 13 month old so run out of guarantee here in Germany. I bought a Charge 6 but run into pairing problems. What a mess.

I'm sorry to hear your Charge 5's battery has lowered its performance lately. I appreciate you have followed the tips suggested in the help article i have previously shared.

If you live in Germany, i recommend that you read our Fitbit Limited Warranty > Limited product warranty for new products

This being said, i recommend that you get in contact with our tech support for further assistance. They count with the appropriate tools to assist you further.
