After water exercise, the screen is blank, it stopped tracking, it will not wake up, battery was at 88%, there is no bluetooth connection. I plugged Fitbit into the charger with no change. I followed the instructions to push the button on the charger cable 3 times (separated by 1 second) and then wait for 10 seconds, no change, still dead. I repeated this several times over several hours, still no change.

The same thing happened to my Charge 5 two days ago. None of the published methods for reviving this tracker have worked. There are so many forum posts describing the same general failure, there must be a hardware flaw. The Fitbit user community needs to put pressure on Fitbit to solve the problem(s) and replace failed trackers. The current reluctant, evasive support response does not bode well for Fitbits future.
