Bluetooth connection is dropping and sync is very slow if even possible.
live chat option is not able to connect, the page is hidden after logging in and being redirected.
so far only option is to request replacement here?

I had the same issue. I charged the Charge to about 80%, then unpaired/removed from fitbit, then added it back again. I got a message that an update was available... I just left the bit on my phone (iPhone 11 Pro) and let it do its thing. Took about 60 minutes. I observed my fitbit receiving multiple updates (maybe one was for bluetooth?). One the update was complete it seems to stay connected (for now at least).

What is the software version on yours? 142.37 here.
mine was also updated but that didn’t help. And the update process was interrupted a few times.

Update. Every so ofter the Fitbit app has a problem connecting (like when doing a forced sync). It resolves itself in a few seconds. I wonder if this contributes to battery drain?

Not sure what is going on here ... I cannot even pair my Charge 5 on my iPhone 12Pro. Keeps bouncing in and out of pairing, then times out at "Connecting to FitBit. WTF. I have deleted app twice, turned off Bluetooth, reset Charge 5 countless times. We need some Fitbit support intervention NOW ... This is nuts

Don’t believe they have a fix. One of the moderators indicated they’re aware of the issue and are working on it. I tried virtually every potential fix suggested in past for fixing Bluetooth/syncing, and nothing worked. Sent mine back for a refund. Really liked the Charge 5, particularly the ability to see the display in bright sunshine.

Is there a fix for this? I just got my Charge 5 today and it's making me crazy(er). I've restarted, reinstalled, blah, blah. Still toggling from connected to disconnected every couple of seconds. Latest software was installed during setup.
