Is it possible to turn off Bluetooth on the Charge 5

Hi @Bobajob27 you can't turn off the bluetooth on the device. You can log out of the app, so your Fitbit won't look for a way to connect to it. You can turn off bluetooth on the phone.

By logging out of the App, do you mean the App on the phone?

Does this turn off the Bluetooth transmitter?

@Bobajob27  yes, the app on the phone. See if that helps. I know when bluetooth is off, I still get messages on the Fitbit (challenge invitations, cheers, etc) but when the phone or bluetooth is off, that kills the connection between the Fitbit and the phone.

Thanks for the suggestion but the Fitbit will still be Rx/Tx and trying to pair otherwise there is no way the Fitbit could connect back to the phone.

I feel Fitbit is missing a huge part of the market by not offering this functionality.

Surely it’s not difficult to implement this in software Fitbit!
