I have a Bowflex Max Trainer M5, a hybrid of an elliptical and a stair climber. When I sync my Charge 5, the workout comes up as I swam. Not sure how to fix the miss categorizing of the workout. Anyone have a solution because I edit the record to reflect its an elliptical workout each time?

Hello @TheUmp
Are you letting it auto recognize your activity? That could be a problem.
With changing the category on your App, once you tap on the new one, that’s it. You don’t have to do any extra steps and it should just save it.
It might be better to set up an Exercise Shortcut for it instead. You can set them up by going to the Today Screen on your App then tapping your profile picture, then Charge 5, then Exercise Shortcuts. Delete one you don’t need by swiping left, then tap +Exercise Shortcut to add one .
I just looked and there’s Stairclimber, Elliptical or even the generic Workout but obviously not your specific machine.
Remember to sync your tracker to make it show up on your Charge 5. Then you can press Start and Stop as appropriate when you exercise.
I hope that helps a bit.

I find that "swimming" is often used by FitBit when it can't figure out the activity. I was folding laundry last weekend and my FitBit thought I was swimming. 😂
I also have a BowFlex Max Trainer M9 and I'd love to be able to use my FitBit as my heart rate monitor.
