I have a new Charge 5 and an android phone. I got my breathing rate the first night. Next 2 nights zippo...I have some sort of premium service .

I am inept with phone and technology in general. So I need step by step help.

Also first night the breath rate worked. Then I registered for premium now nothing. Thanks in advance. G

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Gregm67

Thank you for sharing this information about the problem that you've been experiencing with your Breathing rate.

Before considering other options, please verify that your Fitbit has logged a sleep session for at least three hours long on consecutive nights. If you're still having trouble, make sure to complete a restart procedure following these steps:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times (end of the USB cable), pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

Keep in mind that only sleep periods greater than 3 hours are considered and that you need to wear your device for at least a full day, including to sleep at night. In case the problem is related to the app, please follow the steps listed here below as well:

  • Log out from the app.
  • Restart you phone.
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see your data.

Hope this helps, I'll be around.

Thanks for your response. Oddly enough the. Breathing rate showed up on the
31st for one day only. I am fulfilling all the requirements for this to
work.
The other overnight items are functional. The spo was missing one day but
the data showed up a day later. I am reluctant to reset. Will my other
data be lost? I am using my fitbit to motivate me. I have long covid and
had gotten sedentary. I am on overnight oxygen and the machine is so
loud I can not sleep with it running. So I use for an hour or 2 then shut
it off. I am interested to see the difference it makes on nights I use it
longer. I have a pulse ox sensor in addition and it registers. Same as
fitbit. I don't want this to be a lot of work. I am older and hopeful it
will start working again.

@Gregm67 Thank you for sharing this update confirming that you're now able to see your SpO2 and the breathing rate.

Regarding the restart, this procedure doesn't delete any data, so you shouldn't have any problem with this. Let me know if you continue to experience any problem to track any of this information.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience and feedback about this. 😁
