Fast charging? Charge 5

Is it safe to do charge it on a high WATTAGE? Is fast charging safe?

Hi, thank you for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5, @iamCHESS

I don't think fast charging would be a problem, but do you know what is the voltage that you want to use? It is usually recommended to use a UL-certified USB wall charger, or another low-energy device. You can find more details about this here as well. 

Ideally, you would charge it using the computer, a TV, your car or similar.

I have a 5v 3.1a output wall charger.

 

Is that good?

 

Or would that break my fitbit?

@iamCHESS I don't think that would be a problem, but if you have access to a computer, I would recommend that you use that instead whenever possible.
