I need someone to contact me in regards to my Charge 5.  It does not stay connected with my BlueTooth and it is messing with my tracking and work outs.  I've tried everything and Nothing works.  I purchased back on  12/18/2021 so Best Buy will NOT give me refund or Store Credit and I want to return this watch as I'm extremely UnHappy with it.  Can FitBit please do something for me???  I know it's NOT my Bluetooth because I put my Inspire HR back on today and NO problems at all.  So It IS the watch  Please provide me instructions on Who I need to contact...

Thanks.  For the information.  I was told by the Store that I would have the 1 year warranty through Fitbit, sad that they won't do anything about it though.  I already did everything to trouble shoot the issue and it still happens.  I appreciate your response.

Place your phone one meter from watch.  Does it connect now?   If so, update firmware immediately.

Thanks for the info.  But my Charge 5 has the most recent updates and it still does not work properly.  Consistently disconnecting from my Bluetooth and messing with my workouts, etc.

Yes iOS, but I've tried Everything.  Up to and including removing watch, removing Fitbit App off my phone.  And re-installing both.  And still with the same awful results.  There is something wrong with the Watch.  I've Never had any issues with any other FitBit watch that I've owned.  It's just VERY disappointing that FitBit won't do anything just because I didn't purchase directly from them off the website.  Can my issue be forwarded to an actual FitBit customer service representative?

I am in the same vote I got mine for Christmas and this continually happens, I was able to sync at 6:30 this morning but it has not synced since.  I have owned 3 titbits and am done, since Google took them over they don't care anymore.

I totally understand, I've been an avid user of Fitbit's for many years.  Still have the very first watch (Charge) that they came out with AND it still works.  I've just "retired" them mostly because of battery wearing out.  But the Charge 5 was a Big waste of my hard earning $$.  Funny (not funny) thing is my Son just purchased the Fitbit Sense and NO issues at all.  Soo, if multiple people are having the same issue then I think something might be wrong within the firmware or something.  Oh well.. I put my Inspire HR back on.  We'll see if I attempt another purchase of the "Luxe"  IF I do first sign of anything at all wrong I'm returning it.... LOL

Thank you.  I might try even though they will probably tell me to do everything I've already done.  I contacted the "geek squad"  at Best Buy and they did exactly what I did.  I really appreciate the information you've provided.  I'm just shocked I've never had any issues with any of my Fitbit watches before.

I don't know if this will help to fix it or not, but there's just been a new update to the iOS Fitbit App: 3.55. It might be worth updating and seeing what happens.  The last one, 3.54, got rid of an annoying pop up that lots of people were experiencing and seemed to help with syncing the battery level in the App.

 

Of course, it may make no difference for you, but I really hope it does.  You'll probably have to do the update through the App Store by searching for the Fitbit App.  They don't always seem to show up in automatic updates on my phone at least.

Thanks Mine just updated this morning.  Maybe I'll try to re-install the Charge 5 to see it this update fixed the issue with the Charge 5 staying attached to the bluetooth
