That is showing you burned 2996 calories that day.
I don't want to contradict your dietitian, but that calorie intake, coupled with that calorie daily burn should lead to 3 pounds a week weight loss, quicker than I think is generally recommended. Then add in you say that was your easy day, I question if you will be able to keep that up. Remember, the best exercise plan is one that you will continue.

20 seconds and 4 calories isn't near long enough to judge any kind of accuracy. You're going to have big rounding error there anyway.
Besides nobody could tell without knowing more about you. What is accurate for a 13 year old weighing 60 pounds would not be accurate for an older adult weighing 300 pounds. And who know what you consider "normal speed"?

Hi @rk09. Welcome to the community forums.
Thanks for the details regarding your Charge 5.
Thank you for your inquiry about the calories.
Just as @JohnnyRow explained earlier, the timed counted in the treadmill is not enough to have a calorie burn registration because you have to perform your activity for at least 10 minutes.
I'd recommend checking this article in order to have a better idea about how does your Fitbit device calculate your daily activity.

Please find the attached image and let me know , what is calories burnt(2996) refers to, as I am taking 1450 cal as per dietitian suggestion and I am 93kg ,5.11 feet height,As per Fitbit I burnt 2996 calories? (Note: this is my rest day I didn’t do any gym workouts apart from walk). Is my body burning this much calories daily ? Thanks
