Can't add sleep log

I had a bad night and fitbit only partially recorded it. I tried to add the missing time in front of the log, but it would not let me saying there was already sleep logged then. So, I deleted the existing log, refreshed the app and went back in to re-add my sleep. The app still says No Data and when I try and enter the data, i  still get the same error message of a sleep has already been logged in this period. How do I add my sleep that is missing when the app won't let me?
