Can't get to Clock screen

My fitbit Charge 5 has started getting stuck in the EDA mode and won't let me get back to the clock screen.  I have tried doing all the tests associated with EDA, but I still can't get back to the clock screen.  The only thing that works is to wait until the battery is drained, which seems to happen quicker since this started occurring.  When recharged from 0%, I can get to the clock screen.  Please help!

Hello @RuthiS 

 

That sounds really frustrating!  Have you tried tapping in a corner of the screen to try to get back to the clock face?

 

If that doesn't work, rather than waiting for the battery to run down, try restarting it from the charging cable.  Connect it to the charger and then press the button at the USB end 3 times until the Fitbit logo comes up.

If that doesn't work then it might be worth contacting Support.  You can do that by tapping on Help at the bottom of this page, then Get Support, then Live Chat (I think that might be the easiest way to contact them).

 

I hope some of that helps a bit.
