Can't sync after June 16th Charge 5

I've enjoyed my Charge 5 since April but suddenly it won't sync with my Samsung galaxy s23+. I went through all of the troubleshooting steps, finally tried deleting the Charge 5 to reinstall it on the Fitbit app. I hooked the Charge 5 up to the charger but it doesn't say it is actually charging. The battery is at 95%. My phone can't locate the Charge 5. What can do?

appreciate all the information that you've shared about this inconvenience with your Charge 5.

If you haven't done so already, please try the following steps that have been useful for other users: 

  • Force quit the Fitbit app. 
  • Turn Bluetooth off and on. 
  • Open the Fitbit app and sync again

In addition to that, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the three pulse restart method with the charging cable. If you're still having any issues, let me know if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems, and make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available. 

Regarding the problem with the battery not charging, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article as well.
