My phone's Bluetooth is broken, so I need to sync to my computer instead. It seems the fitbit connect is no more and I can't find anything in the microsoft store. I am running a linux and windows machine (I tryed galileo, but that didn't work either). Is there anyway to sync using a computer?

Hi @lingreg no, Fitbit removed the Fitbit Connect program for Windows. You'll need to have a compatible tablet or smartphone in order to sync and use the Fitbit.

When I purchased my Charge 5 it was able to link to my Windows 10 computer. It continued to function on Windows 11 with no problems. Then one day it would not connect. Evidently a Charge 5 update eliminated this feature.
I found the computer link to be very useful in working with my data and I still don't know why it was removed.
Of course, all of that is moot for me now as my Charge 5 battery failed shortly after the warranty expired. 😞

@Surfista Fitbit deactivated both Fitbit Connect and the Fitbit app for Windows 10 on the same day.

Thanks for the info.
Any explanation as to why Fitbit decided to remove a popular app that let users connect to Windows?
