I no longer see a way to set “hike” as a shortcut. Also, when I set them on my app, my phone is not recognizing them. I’ve restarted my Fitbit and re-synced several times.

Hi @Arkhikr and welcome to the Community. Can you give us more details, please? What model Fitbit do you use? Where are you looking for the shortcut, on the device or in the Fitbit app?

@Arkhikr I moved your post to the Charge 5 forum, a better fit for your question. I don't have recent experience with the Charge. I know there was a firmware update that put all the shortcuts on the device in the Exercise app. That firmware version is 194.91. You can check your firmware version by tapping on the device/battery icon in the upper left of your app, then your Charge 5 tile. There are 20 or so exercise shortcuts, mostly in alphabetical order.
If this doesn't help you, I hope another Charge 5 user can help you.

Hello @Arkhikr
I believe that one of the firmware updates changed the way that the Exercise shortcuts work on the Charge 5. Instead of setting up exercise shortcuts, your most recently activities will show up first in the Exercise tile. I don't recall how many recent activities are available with the Charge 5, but it should be at least 3.
This means you will need to scroll and select Hike as your activity and complete the session. Then the next time you open the Exercise tile, you should see Hike at the top of the list.

Thank you. I have always used hike for my activity, but when I go to the activity list now, I don’t see it listed.

I found out what the problem was. It will only allow you to list five activities, so I had to delete some to allow me to choose from the bigger list. Thank you all for your help!

@Arkhikr Version 194.91 was released in Dec 2023. Users get notified of an update in the app. Tap on your device/battery > Charge 5 tile. Users get a pink Update option when one is available. Please contact Support if you can't get the update.

Hello @Arkhikr
As best as I can tell, the rollout for Charge 5 firmware Version 194.91 may have been halted. My Charge 5 is on the same firmware version as yours.
