My iOS App informed me that there is an update for the Charge 5 available which takes up to 40 minutes.
So, I started the process. 600 Minutes later there was still a black screen, nothing worked. Chat support told me that it is on 40% download and that it depends on the internet bandwith and amount of synchs.
Well, I have a 600 Mbit line.....and I synched probably 20 times.
Today, so 1440 minutes later, still the same situation - chat support not available
Does anyone know what to do? Many thanks.

Same here, it's been over a day now, still black screen, wouldn't charge, reset or turn on at all! Luckily I still kept my Charge 4. Seems like the Charge 5 is very unreliable and Fitbit support is completely useless! Probably will return it and get a refund eventually! 🙄😤

Chat support is actually useless (copy paste of answers). Phone support told me to reset the watch with the reset button on the bracelet which did not work either. So, they sent me a new one.
