Is there a way to only have active minutes on the Charge 5? I am not interested in zone minutes, and I only want an accurate reading of active minutes - if I take a 30 minute walk, I don’t want it to show 60 minutes because my heart rate was elevated.

@HazelEyez3 I'm sorry, but the Charge 5 is programmed to give zone minutes. The CDC and WHO changed their physical activity recommendations several years ago. Active zone minutes correspond to the moderate and vigorous activity recommendations. Active minutes are no longer recognized as a measurement of physical activity. Every tracked exercise has the exercise duration in the exercise details. The information you want is still there.

Thank you for your response. That’s a shame, The information I want is not there. I am not talking about an actual exercise. If I am at a theme park, for example, I would previously see that I had 90 active minutes for when I was walking around. I may have been there for 3 hours , but an hour into the visit I may have stopped for a lunch and later waited on a bench for someone to get off a ride. I would not have received active minutes for the lunch and then waiting.
i received the charge 5 as a gift on Tuesday and at the end of the workday yesterday I had zone minutes. Since all I did was walk to a co-workers desk or office, I know that isn’t what I am looking for.

Thank you for the additional information. I understand where you are coming from. The active minutes you were counting actually had a limitation. The CDC was using a "ten at a time" recommendation, so active minutes didn't start accruing until you reached the ten minutes -- then you got that ten plus everything more. I hope that you will give your Charge 5 a longer trial before you give up. All current Fitbit models give zone minutes. I hope you can find a device to meet your needs, even if it isn't a Fitbit.
