I used a Fitbit Charge 4 for over two years and had to finally upgrade to the Fitbit Charge 5.
The Charge 4 has been tracking all my workouts automatically and did it great. When I view the workouts in the Fitbit app on the iPhone, it shows all the stats (Heart rate zones, active zones, heart rate, calories, etc.). The times (start/finish) were fairly accurate.
The Charge 5, so far, is not accurately detecting the workouts. I was on the treadmill for 62 minutes today where I ran 5.5 miles, burned at least 610 or more calories, and the heart rate stopped half way through the workout. My issue with this workout is that the heart rate stopped half way through the workout. What would cause this to occur with the heart rate? The workout time showed 16 minutes, actual time is 62 minutes, so I adjusted the time of the workout. After adjusting the time, seem like the workout data updated, but the heart rate did not. Eventually the heart rate filled in. Is this just delayed?
I am just trying to get used to the Fitbit Charge 5 as I rely on all my workouts getting saved/recorded accurately. If I could replace the battery in the Charge 4, I would, as it has worked great for over two years.
Thanks.
