I saw a post from October about the Charge 5 alarm not working but nothing recent.
The alarm on my Charge 5 is still not working sporadically and I've already done all the troubleshooting steps (removing and re-adding alarm, restarting device). Is there a timeline for when this will be fixed? This is a pretty important feature for many people.

I just wanted to add to this topic as I’m not sure the issue I’m having is exactly the same. My issue is that the functionality to turn on the alarm from the clock face seems “buggy”. When I swipe to the alarm and set it to “on”, it doesn’t always stay on. I’ll check it a few minutes later and it is “off” again. I normally have to turn it on a few times before bed to make sure it “sticks”. There have been many mornings it has not gone off even though I set it the night before, to the point where I have to set a backup alarm on my clock. Hopefully the reliability and usability will be fixed soon because it would be a great feature (and was one of the reasons I purchased the Charge 5)

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Jtrobic @MyGFisHot.
Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience with your Charge 5.
This seems to be a different problem than the one mentioned earlier since the alarm is not staying on. If you haven't done so already, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the three pulse restart method mentioned here below, instead of the restart option found on the Charge 5 itself:
In addition, please try to remove and re-add the alarm following these steps.
I'll be around.

Restarting the Charge 5 with the three pulse restart method did not work.
Alarms still do not stay set, no matter whether they are one time alarms or repeating alarms. All disappear (not set on) after a few minutes/hours.
Cannot set alarm for next day.
Alarm function so screwed up it is useless!

I’m also getting a new issue now. On some days where the alarm does stay on, it is automatically going to snooze without activating. I’ve take to setting another alarm a couple minutes later (on my alarm clock) and when that wakes me up, I check my Fitbit and it says it has been snoozed. I guarantee I am not setting it to snooze in my sleep :). Anyway, I agree, at the moment the alarm feature on the Charge 5 is useless.
