Charge 5 Alarm stops vibrating before I wake up

Why does the charge 5 automatically snooze when I don’t wake up within the first 30 seconds? This is incredibly inconvenient, I’ve restarted the device and ensured the alarm is actually going off by letting it snooze and waiting for it to go off again. Thankfully I’ve never trusted the device so I set an alarm on my phone: but this has rendered the alarm function essentially useless for me. In what world does an alarm automatically snoozing with no input from the user make sense?

Or you could look at it another way. This is a battery-powered device, not an electric clock. Vibrating runs down the battery.  Suppose you got up a few minutes early and took the watch off to take a shower. Do you want it to be vibrating for 45 minutes or whatever while you sh**, shower, and shave to get ready for work, then find your Fitbit battery has been vibrating all that time and is dead?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I haven't had that happen before but I tend to accidentally press the snooze on the alarm, or it just stops after a few seconds, I mean the alarm does.

Yeah the alarm stopping is my issue, I’ve never accidentally snoozed it but it just doesn’t wake me up. I’ve set four alarms within a 5 minute period now to try and mitigate the issue and it seems to be working so far lol
