Charge 5 Battery Issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had my charge 5 for over a year. The past few months, my battery at the end of the day is in the 70s. I charge daily.
when I charge it, it’s super slow, 30 minutes to get to 80.
when I reset, it tells me it’s 100. When I put it back, it goes to 85. Minutes later 100.

anyone else experiencing this?

Not exactly my issue. My battery barely lasts 8-10 hours now, after almost zero usage. This happened just within a few days, after it was lasting 5-7 days with decent usage. When I try for a firmware update, the page seems to be constantly loading or “searching”, but even hours later it’s still searching. I’ve tried resetting my device several times and several ways. I’d love some support as well!

I have the same issue and it started around Thursday.
Back in December I had the battery power decreased to like 3 days for two weeks before a software update.

Now I’m at 8 to 10 hours, which is very frustrating.

Same here.  I’ve tried the charging cable reset,  but not helping.  Used to get a week, now less than a day.

Mine too, started two days ago. I'm only getting 4 hours then dead as a door nail. This if my serving one since I got it a year ago 😳.

I’m having a problem with the battery not holding the charge as well. Can the battery be replaced?

Yep, same here. Had the Charge 5 for just over a year. Last few days battery is empty within hours. Not using any new features or changed any settings.

I talked to them. Making me recharge for 2 hours, let it run down and then call back. Calling today - we’ll see how it goes.

I fully charged my device and then did a device reset.

Battery now appears to be holding charge, dropped to 91% after 22 hours

Fingers crossed that's fixed it, although I see others have not had same experience from just a reset.

Mine did that once, then petered out.

Mines 2 1/2 years old. They offered me a new device with 35% discount. I’m taking it. I like the device - have tried others.

Tired of spending time troubleshooting. If you’re handy, I saw a YouTube clip on how to replace. Not for me.

I think I’ve tried that in that order, but will try again. Thanks!

There was a guy on YouTube that did it. Looked risky.

How do you try the device reset? Did you delete and then re-pair with it?
