I broke my left wrist 5 weeks ago, so I changed my fit bit to my right wrist. Has anyone done this? I think it has increased my steps. Thanks

Best AnswerIf you are right-handed and did not change the fitbit setting, it would make sense to be registering more steps, from activities that you normally do with your dominant hand, such as brushing your teeth, that might get interpreted as steps. Fitbit has a setting for whether you are wearing it on you dominant or non-dominant wrist, to apply a filter to hopefully filter out most of the pseudo-steps if you have changed that setting.
To get to that setting, on phone app
battery % icon at top left > your device icon > Device preferences > Wrist preference

Hi @joyfulhikr and @JohnnyRow
First of all thank you @JohnnyRow for your comment you are completely right in that the wrist where the device is used will have a small influence on steps depending on whether it is the dominant or non-dominant hand as we tend to move our dominant hands more.
@joyfulhikr, the steps Johnny shared are correct. If you were looking for a more in-depth explanation and more tips about wearing your Fitbit you can also visit this article: How do I wear my Fitbit device?
