Despite paying extra for a Fitbit with GPS, it appears to have stopped working. Which is fine because it was extremely inaccurate when it did work. And I was unable to edit the exercise distance.
Without GPS, my app offers the ability to edit the distance. Well, appears to. Because when I tap the distance and change it to the distance I actually ran, it appears to update. Then immediately reverts back to the distance it logged. This is an unwelcome (though unsurprising given Fitbit's ongoing struggles with technology updates) sight on what continues to be a frustrating app for me.
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

I have the same issue with my IOS app. Looks like people have reported this issue since 2017. Fitbit gives the same trouble shooting tips that never work. If they can't fix it I'll have to get rid of my fitbit. So frustrating.

Good news: My FitBit went dead. No warning. Weird messages popping up, then low battery alert. Now it's just not working at all, despite being plugged into the charger. So, now I can go get a Garmin and be done with these. Worst electronic device I've ever owned.

Haha. I just got a new apple watch after realizing that there will be no fitbit resolution. The change is phenomenal!
