Charge 5 Flickering

My Charge 5 wasn’t syncing so I did all the troubleshooting tips.  It synced but is now flickering.  It was 100% charged now it dropped to 80%.  I just reset it again and it’s sitting in the charger.  Is this fixable or is my Charge 5 dying?

Hi, thank you for sharing that you've having this inconvenience with your Charge 5 device and that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps, @LPA05

If you already tried to complete the 3 pulse restart procedure and you continue to experience the same problem, please try these additional steps that have been useful for other users with similar issues:

  1. Please sync your device in the Fitbit app.
  2. If you  can't sync:
    • Remove the device in the Fitbit app.
    • Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
    • Set up the device again.
  3. If it's still unresponsive, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display.

Hope this helps, I'll be around.

I did step 1-3 above.  Now I can’t add the device back to my phone and it’s still flickering.

i turned Bluetooth off and back on.  It’s 85% charged, then I restarted the device.  I did this 3 times and I still can’t add the device and it’s still flickering.

FitBit screen has died completely.  Received replacement Charge 5 and I’m having the same issues I had before with the initial set up.  Not holding a charge, not syncing, not connecting. I’ve restarted several times.  I’m just beyond frustrated with the Charge 5.  I’m just done dealing with it.  How do I get a refund?
