I was wondering when google wallet will be available globally for all charge 5. There are many reports from users in the UK that apparently have the update already.

I just got myself a charge 5 because i thought it is a general feature update, but I'm still stuck with fitbit pay and none of my cards are compatible...which s***.

fitbit support hasn't even heard about it yet and seem to be completely incapable of reading their own forum/reddit after sending them a bunch of links of user reports.

Hi, @AnkerEde , are you in the UK?  My understanding that the update for the Charge 5 to Google Pay will be rolled out around the world in due course so I am very sure that it will get to you, although my understanding is that timescales for these updates are never announced to avoid disappointment in the case of delays.

Having said that, if you are in the UK, you are likely to get the update fairly soon - as you have noted it is already available to some users there.

In addition to making sure you install any device updates (when available you will see a big pink arrow in your app indicating an operating system update is available for your device) I would also recommend making sure that your app is also up to date (you can check this in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on your operating system).

That's great to hear. Unfortunately I'm in Australia and only very few bank currently work with Fitbit pay. So Google wallet integration will be a great feature upgrade for me.

@AnkerEde I found that some banks that support Google Wallet do not support Google Wallet for Fitbit. My bank is one of those. Even with the update, I'm still unable to add my card. Here is the list of banks that support Google Wallet for Fitbit.

Thank you for that list. My bank would be supported by Google Wallet for Fitbit. So I can't wait for it to be released for the charge 5. 

Fit bit pay is and always has been very limited in Australia.
