Charge 5, iOS 15.3,
Hourly activity not syncing. Some days it sync & other days it stops around noon.
Turned Bluetooth on/off, removed/reinstalled app, turned phone on/off. This has been done on several days but with no success.
The fix seems to be midnight when the day resets but it does not guarantee synching will continue through your the day. Consequently the dashboard is incorrect.
In the decade plus I’ve had Fitbits, this a first & it has started to turn me off the brand.

Hello @Labelbda
That sounds annoying.
Is it showing properly on your Tracker? Have you checked your Dashboard on Fitbit.com to see if it's correct there.
I'm just making some suggestions. If you've tried them already, sorry to have wasted your time.
Have you got the latest update of the App? I just checked mine and there was an update about a week ago and it's on 3.53 now. Also, you have the latest version of the Fitbit too, don't you? 200001.149.11.
Other than that, restarting your tracker might help. From the Clock face, scroll down to Settings, tap, then scroll up to Restart Device.
There's also a harder reset using the power cord. Connect to the charger, then press the button at the USB end 3 times.
If none of those things are making a difference, it might be worth contacting Support for help. You can do that by clicking on Help at the bottom of the page, then Get Support, then Live Chat (that one seems to be a good option).

Wibby,
Thank you so very much for your response. I've been out of commission for a couple of days and had read your response but had not yet tried your suggestions when the latest update (Version 3.54) to the app became available. It appears that Fitbit fixed whatever bug was occurring between my Charge 5 and my app.
Your suggestions were all on point and appreciated.

This is the original poster again. Unfortunately this issue has started again and a hard reset is the answer.
It concerns me that this has happened twice in less than seven months of ownership and has never occurred with any previous Fitbit watches that I've owned. I've also noted that there have been a small wave of similar posts recently (June 2022).
I've reached out directly to Fitbit.

I'm having a similar issue, although not quite to the extreme as yours. Most days, my FitBit syncs my hourly activity just fine. (I have it set for 12 hours, from 7am to 6pm.) Once in a while, it misses an hour, sometimes in the middle of the day, or like today, the 6pm hour. All 12 hours show in my app and in my dashboard online, but for some strange reason, today it decided to "skip" the last hour. I've tried all the methods to fix this (restarting in the tracker, restarting via the charging cable, disconnecting & reconnecting Bluetooth, restarting my phone), but to no avail. It's only been doing this for the past couple of months, after an entire year of having ZERO problems with the tracker. The Active Zone Minutes have been acting weird too. I do the same walk - same pace and everything - without fail every single day. I did this walk with previous trackers (Alta HR and Blaze) and never experienced AZM issues. Sometimes my Charge 5 will recognize the AZM properly - starts recognizing that I'm in the zone at 10 minutes then sends me a notification when I hit 15 minutes, 30, 45, etc. But lately (again, only after I've already had it for a year), it won't calculate my minutes the right way. I could be out on my walk for 30+ minutes but the tracker will only recognize maybe 5 to 10 of those minutes. And occasionally, it overcalculates the minutes, meaning a 30-minute walk in real time shows up as 45 or even 60 minutes. I have no idea what's going on with this thing or why it decided to go bonkers so early in its life cycle. (The Alta HR is mostly okay but the screen is dim; the Blaze was working fine until I took it off the Charger one day and it just shut down. As soon as it put it back on the charger, it rebooted itself.)
