Charge 5 Malfunction

My Fitbit Charge 5 is having a hard time. First, it wouldnt charge. Contacted support, they said I need to balm it in alcohol - worked once.

Then a week later it started flickering very bright, like the display brightness is up 200% and became unresponsive - the battery drained in an hour, even though it was at 90%. Now the charger is unresponsive too (even after rubbing the pins with alcohol), the button on the charger doesnt do anything (I tried the steps).

Contacted support again and they said its not covered by the 'limited warranty' and offered me 30% discount on a new device. I told them thats not okay, because the device is in warranty and malfunctioning and now I am being ignored.

Has anyone had such tech issues? Is this normal customer support? Between the rash I got with the original strap, the screen that got scratched somehow the first mont and now this, I am quite disappointed with the brand.

My charge battery was draining fast as well I contacted Fitbit and told me to adjust  Fitbit after the adjustments the battery was still drawing and they sent me a replacement within 5 days
