Charge 5: No SPO2 data since DEC 2021

Problem:

Charge 5 is consistently logging heartbeat, steps, RHR, automatically detecting workouts, and very successfully compiling data from/during a workout I've initiated on the device.

However, Charge 5 is not able to log sleep automatically. When I dig into the sleep data after manually putting in a time, it returns sleep stages and a score, so it's recording some data. However, when I dig into this data, I find the device is consistently scoring heart rate, but inconsistently scoring SPO2. There are huge, multi-hour gaps in..., and I'm guessing that's where the issue is coming from.

My Charge 5 is actually new, this was an issue I was having with my Fitbit Versa 3 as well. I chocked it up to it being over a year old. However, I looked back at my historical Health Metrics, and found that FitBit hasn't been scoring SPO2 since December LY.

As a result, Charge 5/Premium isn't detecting sleep, preparing a sleep score, or preparing a readiness score.

Things I've Tried:

* New device - from Versa 3 to Charge 5. Same issue.

* Resetting the fitbit Charge 5 through Settings >> Reset
* Making sure the band is fitted tightly but comfortably
* Logging out and clearing the cache/downloads from my android FitBit app, then re-starting my phone and logging back in

I'm having the same issue; however, I just got my Charge 5 & have been using it the last 4 nights. The first night it tracked my SP02, but it hasn't since. Watch is on correctly and sleep tracking is fine. I can't figure out what I need to do to fix the SP02 though. It's a bummer because that feature was one that really swayed my upgrade from the Versa that I've had forever.

Last night I tried:

* Manually starting a sleep cycle, stopping it when I woke up this morning - No luck, even worse reporting than when I tried just manually putting in sleep times after the fact

Today I will try:

* Uninstalling and reinstalling the SPO2 sensor app

Today I will also try:

* If it's a "moving too much when I sleep" thing then I'm going to try changing the settings to reflect that I'm wearing it on my "Dominant" hand, which I think may make it less sensitive overnight?
