My Charge 5 is not charging. I've tried restarting the device, cleaning both the charger and the Fitbit, and even purchasing a new charger on Amazon to see if it was the charger's fault. The Fitbit generally acts as if it doesn't recognize that it's hooked up to the charger; it may momentarily "find" it and show that it's charging, but only for a split second, and then it comes up with an error message that says it isn't charging and to check the charger. In fact, trying to hook it up to the charger seems to drain the battery - I tried to attach it and it's gone from 37% to 24% in less than an hour.
Fitbit Support thought that the issue was the charger (they shipped a new one, but that's still en route), but given that I went out and bought a new charger that also doesn't work, clearly that isn't the issue. Has anyone else had this issue, and can anyone fix it? It's only a few months old and I'm disappointed to be having so many issues with what's supposed to be the top-of-the-line model - it randomly stopped working for a few days 2 weeks ago and I was about to ship it back under warranty when it started working again. (Given that I now know it's having charger issues, I'm wondering if it was having a charger issue then and the real problem there was that the battery was drained.)
