I just purchased a Fitbit charge 5 and i have problems downloading the Fitbit app on the Google Play store. When im on the Google play store, under the Fitbit app it says "This app is available for your device," but when i try to find the app on my phone it is not there. Every five minutes a prompt on my phone asks if i would like to "setup" my Fitbit Charge 5 and i click ok, but that does nothing. Sometimes the Google play app will allow me to "Install on more devices" the app but that also does nothing. I have a Samsung Galaxy s21 + 5g phone, im not 100% sure if it is a compatible phone. Any help would be great. Thanks!

When the Google Play Store says the Fitbit app is available for your device, I believe that just means it is compatible, but you still have to download it. It does not mean that you already have it.
It is available for your device, not on your device.

Hello Johnny, when i am on the Google Play store, trying to install the Fitbit app it does not give me the option to "install" but instead it says "Install on more devices." I click that option and then it takes me tio window that says choice a device, which i pick my phone " Samsung SM-G996W," Then it asks me to sign into the google account. When i do that there is a prompt that says, "Fitbit will be installed soon." then it closes but nothing ever gets installed.

No worries i got it figured out. My Google play store app was disabled on my phone. I enabled it and was able to successfully downloaded the app and have my Fitbit working. Cheers 😃
