My charge 5 will shut off mid workout. Only way to get it back up is to throw it on the charger. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes I've had the same problem. Charge 5 randomly shuts off. Its been happening for months and getting more frequent. Just the other day I contacted support and the walked me through a factory reset. A few hours later it happened again. I contacted them again and they offered a replacement or 50% of a different fitbit so i ordered a new one. Ironically it's been working fine since.

@Mlc2324 Welcome to the Fitbit community!
I'd suggest trying to solve this issue by restarting your Charge 5 following these steps:
1.) Connect your device to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.
2.) Press the button located on the USB Plug of the charger 3 times within 8 seconds, holding each press for about 1 second.
3.) Wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
4.) Check the battery status of your device.
If this doesn't work for you, I'd contact Fitbit support to get further assistance:

Yes, I’ve been having this problem as well.
I contacted customer support and am getting a replacement.
it always seemed to happen immediately after I’d just charged it.
my Watch is around 8 months old so fingers crossed all ok with the replacement.

Yup. Constantly shutting off. Even though I bought mine just over a year ago, their only solution was a discount code for a new one. No thanks
