Charge 5 Problems

In the last week, my Charge 5 will randomly change time that is no where close to the correct time.  Then, it will adjust back to the correct time in a little while.  Also, I always walk at about a 19 minute pace.  Today, it had me in the 13 minute pace range.  Something is wrong and I am wondering what I can do about it.

I’m not sure about your pace walking issue but I “might” be able to help you with your random time changes on your Charge 5. Is it possible that your time zone setting may have been altered in some way? You can check your time zone settings by following these steps:

open your Fitbit App

tap your profile picture in upper left corner 

scroll down and tap “app settings”

now tap time zone 

😉 Make sure that your time zone setting is enabled in green to set automatically

Thanks for your reply. But, that isn’t it because the minutes change by a wild amount as well.

I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t resolve the issue. Hopefully someone else will see your post and provide you with the correct solution.
