Hi, I just recieved my new charge 5 and I have tried syncing it. I have started off by charging the charge 5, I get a QR code with a small blue or green line ( switches up seemingly randomly ) every time I try to charge it.
I've looked through some more of the forums, and I have tried resetting the charge 5 by clicking the button in the wire 3 times, nothing seemed to change; not sure if this is normal, I also tried scanning it and I received note of several numbers.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, @matiasbr, welcome to the community, I suggest you factory reset your Charge 5 as demonstrated in How to Erase Fitbit Charge 5 (Factory Reset / Clear User Data) - YouTube.
If you are not able to do this then
Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger. 2. Insert the other end into the port on the back of your tracker. 3. Press and hold the button for 10 to 12 seconds, until you see the Fitbit icon and a version number (e.g. "V30").
It would probably be a good idea to clear cache & storage in the Fitbit app on your phone, delete it, restart your phone & reload the Fitbit app. You should then go through the set-up procedure again Fitbit Charge 5 Unboxing and Setup (Lunar White / Soft Gold) - YouTube demonstrates. If you had the Charge 5 paired with the Fitbit app on your phone previously you will lose any data not synced.

I'm having the same issue and the charger button-clicking does not work. The YouTube video Gr4ndp4 posted is useless because the device has to be functioning to use any of the menus. When I scan the QR code, I get "396c8379b282" but no other information.

Hi, @md.atx, welcome, I have no idea what the error code indicates. Is your Charge 5 syncing with the Fitbit app on your phone (the icon in the top left of the "Today" screen should indicate the current % of the battery and steps could well be accumulating in the app) If the button on the charging cable is not working you may either have a faulty cable or USB socket that is failing to provide juice Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - The Fitbit Help Center walks you through possible causes. If you think this is the case replacements are available at a modest cost on Amazon. Alternatively, it is of course, possible your Charge 5 has developed a fault. If you think this is the case you should contact "Customer Support" using the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. It's a good idea to note the steps you have taken & results so you can brief the agent. You do not mention when or where you bought your Charge 5, you may have the benefit of Fitbit returns & warranty policy (which covers the cable too) the agent will need this information if it has an impact.

Yeah, I found out some of the fitbits encounter this issue, its just a defective one; I called fitbit and got a refund, then received a new one.
