Buyers beware. I got my Charge 5 in late June. Started noticing intermittent issues with screen responsiveness in August but worked around them. After the firmware update - all I could get was the flashing logo - app no longer recognized by watch. Tried the troubleshooting measures. Nothing worked. Luckily I was able to return it to REI for a refund because they didn't have any colors left but black.
I see that the cost for the watch is $10 more at Fitbit than what I had paid for it at REI. Wondering whether the community feels that the issues have been resolved and is it worth getting a new one (hopefully Fitbit will honor the price I originally paid!) or if it would be better to cut my losses and switch to an Apple Watch?
