Charge 5. Stopped working

My device is unresponsive.  It’s also not holding  a charge.  Says the battery is dead, then let it stay charging for hours, syncing with app, while on the charger, says battery is at 99%.  As soon as I take it off charging it drops to 1% and the device is not responsive.    I did reset.   Did not help the issue.   This seems to have started last night around 9:30 pst.

I am having this exact same issue. Very frustrated. Contacting Fitbit today and will follow up with how they respond and how the process goes.
