Charge 5 - Syncing issues and now unresponsive

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been having several syncing issues and my Fitbit has stopped recording my sleep. I have disconnected and reconnected and it syncs for about a day then back to not syncing. Now my watch turned off and will not charge or switch back on. I have tried the reset using the charger button, nothing. I have noticed their is a permanent red light on the back. I have tried to change the clock face, but this has failed to change the clock. Nothing has worked and I'm unable to use the watch

I have a similar problem and cannot sync and set the correct time. Have spent hours trying to get charge 5 to work.

Yeah that's been happening for the last few months then today won't turn back on or charge, completely dead

Hello @AmandaTD , @emupoint

It sounds like you've already tried the recommended troubleshooting on this help page: why won't my Fitbit sync (<-- click link).

The next step would be to contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get the message to chat or call.

Depending on how long you've owned your Charge 5, you may have some options under warranty.

I’ve had same issue and when it was syncing it was erratic and only synced partial information. It’s been black screen since 2-3 months after I got it? The reset button does nothing. It doesn’t even show logo? Just black screen? It wasn’t damaged or anything just stopped working correctly. 2nd one, my husband has gone through 4 of them similar issues? I won’t buy another at high price! $30 one on Amazon that does all the same things, at least if it stops working after awhile it won’t cost much to replace? Looks same as charge 5 also, I’m just tired of fighting with my fitbits!

That's such a shame. Luckily both of mine died about 18 months in so I've
been covered with the warranty or I wouldn't buy another Fitbit. I've
always found Fitbit good at the returns so fingers crossed this time is the
same.
