Hi all,
Just looking foir a little help please!
I'm running the Fitbit app on an iPhone with mny Charge 5. In general terms I have had no problems whatsoever and am quite happy with everything.
Last year I used the Fitbit Pay function successfully without any issues and all was well. I haven't used it since, but would like to use it again now. The card has disappeared from my fitbit and it now directs me to add a card via the app. I have migrated my account to Google in the interim and now when I go to the wallet icon on the fitbit app on my phone I see a wallet icon with an exclamation mark. Selecting this brings me to a screen that says Fitbit Pay will cease July 28th (which I already knew about). If I select "Update my Wallet" I am simply brought to a web page which explains lots of Google Wallet stuff that doesn't apply to the iPhone.
I now find myself unable to use the pay function on the watch at all. Any ideas?
Thanks!!

Well what a mess all that was! I finally managed to sort this all out through a total run of fluke really.
On my second image above - in the bottom left corner are two links overlaid on top of eachother - one says "not now" and the other says "how to do it". When I tried to click on those options I was simply being taken to the same web address help article as the "Update to Wallet" button.
However, while bored an frustrated I tried tapping on the very left edge of the overlaid links and I got a pop-up asking me to confirm if I really wanted delay updating the waller - it seems I actually managed to select the "Not now" link this way. This pop-up gave me an option to go ahead and update straight away - I selected update which too me to sign into my Google Wallet. Hooray! Or so I thought...........
The Google Wallet screen asked for my username, which I entered and pressed next. It then seemed to offer me to prove I was not a robot via captcha - but which wasn't actually displayed so I could never pass this screen. I tried everything - delete and install app - clear cache - reconnect the fitbit - etc. Nothing worked.
I then noticed that the language/region option at the bottom left said "English - United States". I changed this "English - United Kingdom" and tried again and this time it allowed me use my password to sign into my Google Wallet rather than a captcha.
After this I set a pin - which failed and froze my app with a pop-up that said my pin was not set correctly.
I force quit the app, reopened to try again, but it now asked me to select my card of choice - apparently my pin worked after all.
And now everything is working.
I would like to sincerely thank Fitbit and Google for creating this fantastically cryptic puzzle for us all to solve. It required a lot of lateral thinking and random choice that would make any quiz game shiver with fear. I think that what Google really wanted to do was to ensure that only their brightest, or in my case luckiest, users get to use their payment option.
Phew! I'm in love with my Charge 5 again!

I have exactly the same problem. Where ever I tap, no link opens... any hints? 😥
