Charge 5 battery discharge and continuing message

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

In the last week or so my Charge 5 has been cycling the “add card” message which clears when I touch “got it” then pops up a few minutes later. This has been accompanied by battery discharge so I can’t get 24 hours.  I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit, done a reset from the watch and also used the button on the charge cable to reset. No change. Probably coincidence, but seems to have happened since last the last app update.  Any ideas on fixes as it’s pretty frustrating.

Hi, try clearing the cache... whenever any of my apps (even fitbit app) starts acting up , clearing the cache for either my whole phone or that particular  app, (in settings) always fixes it! Please let me know if that helps!!!!

I use to think doing this to an app would fix problems or issues, it never really did, however Clearing the cache for thar app will usually fix the issue 🙂 it's simple, got to settings,  scroll down to apps, select, find the fitbit app, select, then scroll to storage, select, clear cache is at the bottom (becareful not to select "clear data")now  try the app, or fitbit.. if that doesn't work, clean up your phone by doing clearing cache for the whole phone.. Google it ,it's not hard , and no ot doesn't not erase any of your info.. I do phone once every couple of months to clean up junk files
