Charge 5 battery draining quickly

I set up my Charge 5 on Saturday afternoon. I've had to charge it every 48 hours since. I'm only getting steps counted and a sleep score. I've done the reset a couple times. Before I return it I thought I'd check to see if there is a solution.

I thought I indicated I had done all those things. This isn't my first Fitbit (4th) and I've been reading the community for many years. I asked to make sure I didn't miss anything. Obviously, it is a common issue. I will go back to my 4.

Hi, I am having the same issue starting 3 days ago. I have had my Charge 5 since July 2022 and until the beginning of this week I could use it for around 5 days before needing to plug it to the outlet, now my battery only lasts for a couple of hours!

I have reseted 3 times, updated with the last firmware, and have not changed any settings previously, but I am still having this issue.

It is driving me crazy, it is almost useless and I have only used it for 6 months. Could you please help me with this issue?

Could you take a look at my post please? It's in this thread as well. My Fitbit Charge 5 is useless in the current state and I would like an answer from Fitbit.

Same thing has been happening to my Charge 5 since Dec. Been using it since Feb 2022.

I talked to a rep of Fitbit through their "live chat", she asked for my receipt, realized that it was covered by the warranty, and Fitbit will send me a new Charge 5 within a month! You should try that, this is their support web page: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

Even though I am not in USA (I live in Bolivia, South America) they will send me the replacement.

A lot of owners experienced battery drain issues after the update.

You probably did the firmware update in December 2022 same thing happened to mine when the update reminder showed up from the app.

 

I got a replacement and I haven't updated it ignoring the update reminder. The battery is lasting 6 days.
