Just happened about a week ago. I recharged like normal overnight, the next day I go to check the time around 5pm and it says critically low.
I’ve erased all data and reset the device. Disconnected and reconnected through Bluetooth, and checked the gps settings and same thing. Synced through app.
I charged it overnight again as I do with my phone as a test to see how fast it’s dropping in comparison. So right now (morning )my iPhone is at 97% browsing and watching videos and my Fitbit charge 5 is at 93%. The Fitbit is draining faster than my phone.

A warm welcome to the forums @Crgrossman
Thanks for the details regarding your Charge 5.
I've proceeded to send your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, but I've been informed that you already got in touch with them and it seems they've provided you with some instructions. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.

Thanks for getting in touch. It’s kind of been resolved. They issued a new Fitbit to replace the one I have. However, the email said I should receive it in the mail today but when I check the tracking info nothing has been shipped yet.
I have been helped. And we reached an agreement, but that agreement hasn’t been fulfilled yet.

Bought a fitbit charge 5 2 years ago, within 15 months the battery was dieing within a day or so, now it dies anytime an alert sounds or dies unexpectantly after a few hours. Absolute junk product that should last a long time past the warranty, but doesn't to try and get you to buy a new one. Couldn't have less respect for fitbit proucts. Worst performing product l have ever purchased.
