My charge 5 battery is starting to fail after just over 2 years. Feeling hacked off

Same. First I lose battery, then the screen goes black even after charging. This has happened 2-3 times in the last couple weeks. I have charged it 3 times in the last 2 days and it runs dry in hours. It has the same settings it has over the last 2 years so, nothing changed there. I have done all the suggestions to fix these issues to no avail. I think it’s a goner. Sad that these are such disposable things.

I have done all the necessary updates etc.


It only started about 2 weeks ago. Since Google bought the company I am not
aware of any recent updates
