My year old (last week) replacement Charge 5 is rapidly loosing charge 100% to 5% in about 15 minutes. Contacted support , but they say the device is out of warranty. This was a replacement last January for a Charge 5 whose screen went dark. I believed that the UK warranty was 2 years ( in the small print paperwork ) or is this not so for a replacement product.

@meljat Please correct me if I misread your post. The UK warranty is two years. It is from the original purchase date. The two year calendar doesn't restart if you get a replacement.
Does this help?

I've just been reading other posts , and am now aware that the Charge 5 is regarded as a legacy product, so why was I sent a Charge 5 as a replacement last January if they were no longer being supported. I have also been offered a discount on a new product but also think that a year is not a reasonable lifespan for the Fitbit.

Thankyou. The replacement has lasted a year plus a couple of days.

Hi, I'd still expect it to last longer than a year, ,to be a lot of people with the same problem . Its been working great, only needed to charge once a week and it will not charge. Tried all the advice instructions. But no results. Charger and charge point are working fine as partners Fitbit has been charged on them.
